I am so excited to release the final episode of what we call the BRAND Podcast. We are going through some major amazing shifts and changes, especially to better align with the 50 Not Finished™ Movement, and I am so excited that next week at this time, you are going to see a new look, new feel, as well as a really familiar look and feel.

We're really excited to be making some changes. I want to help more women to step into the work that they were meant to do in this world, and this blog and podcast has been very focused on business. It's not that we won't continue to focus on business here and there, but I really want to help you ignite you. I really want to help you find your gifts, your strengths, your genius to hone in on who you are really meant to be in this world, really your authentic, true self.

It's going to be incredible. Stay tuned to learn a whole lot more next week, but this week we are going to have one of our more traditional episodes and we're going to be talking about business. I think it's such a great way to wrap up this era of the BRAND Podcast and it's a great closing message.

The Tale of Two Funnels

As I approached my 50th birthday, I embarked on a three year journey of health and self-improvement. A recent bone density scan revealed osteopenia, a condition that affects nearly 50% of women and is often overlooked. This diagnosis spurred me to explore solutions online, where I encountered two vastly different funnels addressing bone health.

The first funnel, from a health coach, felt impersonal and overly mechanical. I was guided through a rigid marketing process, and the experience left me feeling like just another cog in a machine. The application process was tedious, and I was constantly aware of being manipulated by a strategy rather than genuinely helped.

In contrast, the second funnel, managed by a doctor, was a breath of fresh air. His approach was generous and authentic. He provided extensive free content, including a valuable masterclass that allowed me to learn at my own pace. This experience felt more like being welcomed into a community rather than being funneled through a sales process. It was clear that he cared deeply about serving his audience, which ultimately led me to become a client and join his membership.

Lead with Service

This contrast between the two funnels led me to a crucial realization: service always wins over sterile strategies. The doctor’s approach was focused on genuinely helping people and providing value upfront, which built trust and connection. The other funnel, however, felt like I was being lead through a predefined process, which felt inauthentic and off-putting.

As we transition to the new format of the podcast, I want to emphasize that genuine service and authentic connection are paramount. Whether through a book, a masterclass, or any other offering, the goal is to provide value and transform lives. I’m committed to standing in service, putting my heart into everything I do, and ensuring that my audience and followers feel supported and valued.

So my beautiful friend, go spend a little bit of time on what you care about, what your convictions are, who you're helping, what problem you're solving, what results you're helping people to get and believe so fully in it that you want to go shout it from the rooftops, and then go shout it from the rooftops.
