In today’s BRAND Interview, I had the pleasure of chatting with Jeanne Omlor, an expert in helping coaches and consultants build high-ticket coaching businesses. Jeanne shares insights into her journey of building her brand and business, emphasizing her mission to help individuals leverage their knowledge and become successful coaches.

Money Mindset

Jeanne highlights the importance of empowering coaches to thrive financially, focusing on normalizing numbers and celebrating every win. She emphasizes the need to overcome limiting beliefs around money and confidently raise prices.

Jeanne shares that same belief that I do when it comes to money and limiting beliefs surrounding it in that we’re both committed to supporting women in stepping into their gifts and making a living from their passions.

Our discussion also touches on the challenges of transitioning from offline to online marketing, with Jeanne sharing her experience and lessons learned. She also shares her journey from a struggling artist to a successful entrepreneur, emphasizing the significance of facing fears and taking action. She gives such a powerful example of the Terror Barrier and how the only way through it is to do it!

Marketing & Sales Strategies

Jeanne and I discuss various marketing and sales strategies that she’s used and found to work for her, noting the effectiveness of online networking like DMs and conversations on social media while highlighting the limitations of in person events for scaling a business. In person events are amazing, but as Jeanne points out in the interview, you can only go to so many events in a week or a month and not all of the people there are guaranteed to be your target audience.

Jeanne also shares about her ongoing efforts to make paid ads work for her business. I can’t wait until Thursday’s Behind the BRAND episode to really dig into why this might not be working the way it wants for her!

Entrepreneurship & Personal Growth

As our conversation shifts to personal growth, Jeanne reflects on how her skills and confidence have evolved over the years. Jeanne also openly shares about her ongoing journey of managing anxiety, emphasizing the importance of regulating emotions and having tools for mental well-being.

Jeanne’s advice for other coaches and entrepreneurs? Focus on yourself as the brand, conveying your message authentically and genuinely helping your target audience by adding value and making an impact!
